Good morning,
I am in the process of opening a mobile bar and cafe in Vermont and looking to understand if there is a way to work with you. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello, I wanted to check in to see if your distributorship might be interested in carrying something unique; a terroir-driven spontaneous fermentation meadery and winery from North Carolina. Stardust Cellars follows biodynamic farming principles to grow indigenous grapes and produce its wines. I’m looking for assistance in getting our products out there to folks who can appreciate what we do and can advocate for our natural meadmaking style. This means NO PITCHED YEAST every single time we make mead, which sets us apart as the only commercially available natural mead in the USA at a price that doesn’t break the bank. It is merely what comes in with each raw honey harvest here in the Appalachian foothills where we stir by hand with well water to bring these honey probiotics to life in ancient biodynamic ritual.
The meads come in 375mL crown capped bottles. Just $32.56/12-singles FOB ($2.88/375mL) for our 7% and under meads and fruit wines made using organic fruit and $52.50/12-singles FOB ($4.35/375mL) for our higher abv wines and meads. Our Ancestral Mead line is a sulfite-free natural wine made entirely of raw honey and well water from here in the surrounding beekeeping village of our foothills in North Carolina. You can see the culture ferment as the bottles are cellared to slowly bottle condition the ancestral probiotics, giving the mead a nice effervescence after a time.
Our meads range from dry to semisweet meads with organic fruit or herbs added and have gotten placements in the Mazer Cup this year, with a very competitive price, while also being spontaneously fermented meads, giving us an edge on both the natural wine and craft beer markets and a unique enough mead to make it stand out in a crowded wine or mead section. The probiotic aspect of our Ancestral Mead line gets many folks excited in the natural grocery and high-end wine world and the semisweet lower abv easy drinking mead for a good price aspect of the Funky Ferments line sells itself anywhere folks buy mead or sweet wines or are curious but usually hold off from trying mead due to the price tag. Everything we make goes well in a cocktail, restaurant bars love to mix ginger beer and lavender or use it to make a French 77 with Champagne and lemon juice. Everything we do is also available in kegs for $95/sixtel for our 7% and under products FOB ($166/sixtel for higher abv wines and meads).
Let me know if you might be interested in samples.
